Washington Kastles new WTT franchise (AP)

The Washington Kastles are the newest franchise in World Team Tennis. The Kastles will become the 11th team in the coed summer league, WTT announced Thursday. Owned by a group led by venture capitalist Mark Ein, the Kastles will play their home matches in Washington, D.C. The league, co-founded by Billie Jean King, begins its 33rd season in July.
